Confirmed Service Customer
We purchased our tonneau cover and weatherized mats on our app for our newly purchased truck. Made sure to have it shipped to the Beaverton service department location for install. Nobody called to set up the install so we called ourselves. Wasn't able to get through so had to leave a message on the message line. When we got a call back we set up the install for Tuesday morning (which was the earliest availability). When we dropped the truck off the service tech we spoke to was very ruid and unhelpful. Demanded us to show them the receipt for the purchases, otherwise we would have to pay for the install. We were able to get the proof from an email on our phone. After they looked at the email they informed me they would charge us the install fee, which is not what our sales guy told us. He said as long as we get the part shipped to the Beaverton location the install would be covered at no additional charge. The service department continued to argue with us with no remorse on the miscommunication. We agreed to be charged the install and then we were informed that the install wasn't going to happen on Tuesday and they would need the truck for longer than just one day. When we originally set up the install they informed us that it would take two hours and they would have it done within the day as long as the part was available. Realizing there was no way they could install the cover the next day we had to take the key back and leave knowing we would have to reschedule the install on a different day. With no remorse or helpful gestures he let us leave without any future plans. We went over to talk to our sales guy to let him know what happened. Luckily he was free. He helped calm us down as we were really frustrated. Our sales guy was able to talk to the service department and get the service scheduled correctly and the install charge waived. Bottom line the service guy is very unprofessional and rude. We are dreading the day we have to return for any future service.
